Good morning Cupertino Middle School! This is Mrs. Snyder with the morning announcements for November 20, 2009.

• Each morning this week in the announcements, there will be a geography question of the day.  If you think you know the answer, come to the office and fill out a Geo Answer Form, and put it in the box in the office marked ‘Geo Answers’ by the end of lunch.  You must NEATLY print your name and the answer on the form. One winner will be selected every day. Winners will be announced during the following day’s announcements and will receive a small prize.  Good luck!
• The answer to yesterday’s Geography Question of the Day was New Jersey, and the winner is Madeleine.  Congratulations Madeleine!  Stop by the office to claim your prize during brunch or lunch.
• Today’s Geography Question is:
  Fort Wayne, a city that grew rapidly after the construction of the Wabash and Erie Canal, is the second largest city in which state that borders Lake Michigan?
