Good morning Cupertino Middle School! This is Mrs. Snyder with the morning announcements for November 9, 2009.

• You know the huge difference reading literacy makes, discover the amazing things you can do when you are memory literate.
• Jim Wiltens is coming to CMS!  He will teach a “Beginning Secrets of a Super Memory” class on four afternoons in December: Tuesday December 1, Thursday December 3, Friday December 11, and Friday December 18.  All classes will be held from 3:15-5:15 in Room 15.  During this class, students will improve memory skills in academic areas through games and laughter.
  
  Students interested in registering for the class may sign up in the office beginning today. Registration will be open to only CMS GATE students until Friday, November 13th. Registration will open to all CMS students beginning Monday, November 16th.  A personal check, payable to CMS, in the amount of $35.00 is due at the time of registration.   
  
  Registration will close when we have achieved full capacity of 20 students, or on November 23rd at 3:00pm - whichever comes first. In the event that we do not have 20 participants, the class will be cancelled and checks will be returned. Refunds will not be issued after November 23rd due to student or parent initiated cancellations.
  
  Watch the Bear Bulletin for additional Jim Wiltens classes to be offered at CMS this year. Space is limited! Register now!
• Mathcounts will not meet this week.  It will be back again starting next Wednesday, November 18th.
• Success, Inc will meet after school today from 2:50-3:50PM for students in this program.
• Homework Center will meet after school in the library until 3:50
• The following clubs will meet today:
              Environmental Club will meet at lunch in room 20
              Scrap Booking and Fashion Club will meet at lunch in the girls’ locker room
• The following clubs will meet tomorrow:
               Running Club will meet before school at 6:35AM
               Yo Yo Club will meet at lunch in room 20
               Brush Painting & Calligraphy Club will meet at lunch in room 18
               Paper Craft Club will meet at lunch in room 8
               Cards Club will meet at lunch in room 7
               Weight Lifting Club will meet at lunch in the girls’ locker room
